I am looking at a banshee at the moment. I wonder if anyone has any information on this model and the method of construction.
how is the future selling price affected by the builder being once removed.are there particular problems with plywood that affect insurance.
any useful information gratefully received. first post so please be gentle

Richard Woods often posts on here, so quite possibly he'll be able to answer your questions.

There is also a forum specifically for Woods designs here: Woods Designs Sailing Catamarans

Richard Woods does post on this forum, so you'll likely get info from the best source available.
I think it's wise to have a boat thoroughly surveyed, no matter what the make, and even more important if it happens to be a homebuilt.

....and even more important if its built by 'professionals' who won't ever sail it.
What do you think Alan?

Woods multihulls are at: Woods Designs Sailing Catamarans

There is a design section with study plans, including the Banshee. Forums too: focused on your subject.

I think of Richard Woods designs as being modern Wharrams. They are almost as simple; can be spartan by choice; seaworthy and fast. Don't hobby horse. In other words: excellent.
