Window / Cabin Height

I'm still a few years ahead of myself, but the new(er) boats of today can be the projects of a few years from now.....

On board I am the Captain, deck hand, engineer, chef and chief bottle washer. Therefore I need to be able to sail from the galley so to speak. Not literally, but the ideal layout has a nice settee/dinette on one side and the galley/nav station on the other. I need to be able to work in the galley and keep a lookout, an eye on the navigation and make course changes if necessary.

Layouts vary, but there's a few out there that would work, and then there's always the option to "re-decorate" a little. Based on Admiral's desires and budget projections, we are looking in the low to mid 40 foot range.

The biggest problem I have run in to is the fact that in most cats I can not stand up in the cabin, and see the horizon. I have to duck down. (I am 6 feet tall), and I don't want to have to duck all the time.

The ONLY one I've identified so far that is tall enough is the Leopard.

Can anyone else add models that would allow me to stand and see the horizon from inside?
Out there, alone, there is only truth.
