Most who research catamarans identify them as they go. most brand websites will indicate.

Some designers offer models that can be fitted with mini keels or daggerboards. You make your decision.

Some designers also can offer only one daggerboard.

Like another poster said, this is a topic which you need to do some homework on. That & there are books which do cover the features of a fair number of the available designs; past & present.

Plus, if you really want'em, installing'em in a lot of design's ain't rocket science. Just $ dependent.

PS: I'm about as FAR away from being a Bible Thumber as you can get, and know that even that term will offend some. But, that said. You may wise to petition a mod about modifying your thread title a bit.
AKA: Have a little common sense, & common courtesy please.

No offense, but I was really hoping that fullfi boa referred to something interesting. Even profane - I could use some more variety in my swearing because the boat is getting too used to my usual and I need to instill more fear in it.

Re: Why Is There No List of Catamarans With Daggerboards?

If you're talking about cruising catamarans, most are designed to be flat and stable and nearly impossible to overturn. Daggerboards, to be effective, would work against that objective.

I only know of one cruising type catamaran that was made with daggerboards, and that model (I can't even remember the name of it now) had been known to overturn under some conditions.

If you're talking about racing catamarans, I'd be surprised if they didn't all have daggerboards, or at least the option to add them.

It doesn't have any of the classical components of a joke, but if you found it humorous then I'm glad to have brightened your day!

I think what 2Hulls meant Art was that it is such an ignorant thing to say, that it must be a joke. But I think it's just a Troll comment, not worthy of any consideration.
