Which mid sized cats sell the fastest

Pretty open ended question, but in your opinions and experiences, which are the fastest selling, in terms of second hand sales, 38-48(ish) foot cats?

I know Antares 44's never hang around long, but what are some other popular makes that are snapped up quickly? Assuming they are all in good shape and comparable equipped.

I think owners versions sell faster, and anything that is very well kept.
Back when I was looking, .. I was leaning towards the Privilege boats.. but so many of them were a wreck and on the market forever.. but as soon as one came to market that was in great shape.. poof, it was gone.

Manta, Antares and well-priced older Leopards. In the US. Other ones in other countries.

Re: Which mid sized cats sell the fastest

A boat with a good price and condition in a mainstream location sells fast if there is a sizeable market for it.

I guess the biggest market is the smaller Lagoons. A nice 380 or 400 owners version should sell very quick. Or Leopard.

Exotic brands may or may not sell.

Re: Which mid sized cats sell the fastest

I disagree with the second part of that. One of the reasons the Manta and Antares sell so quickly at reasonable prices (for the seller) is that they are decent production boats, but few of them exist.

In contrast, the only way used Lagoons, FP's, etc sell is if the price is set very low. Most any boat will sell if the price is set low. There are literally hundreds of L380's for sale at a given time, and many of them stay for sale until the price is dropped very low.

To show that this isn't always the case, there are a lot of used Leopard 43/46 models out there, but they seem to sell well if the price is reasonable (ie, not necessarily very low).

I agree with the first and last part.
