Hi Koen,
actually our decision was between a Privilege 43.5 and the Lightwave 45. Strange as this seems to be as chosing between an Audi Sedan and a Volvo Kombi. We decided for speed versus space. We already own a Lightwave 38 and we love the quality of the finish compared to the other french production boats - sorry don't want to hurt anyone's feelings - that is just my opinion.

Hello Nils

You could have had even more speed and space, just look at
African Cats: comfortable lightweight performance leisure catamarans

Good luck with your new Cat

Hi nils,

would love to hear about how the project goes and performance of the 45 in full cruising mode. My wife and I are keen on this boat and I hope about 2 years from placing an order. Still looking at what is out there but the 45 has captured our imagination....The Perry 43 we charted had Yanmar 55, and seemed to have heaps of power, but really couldn't tell much in 10 days and pretty benign conditions. In my previous Roberts 36 I built I had a Yanmar 22, which was great, but really underpowered in nay sort of slop, so dont want an underpowered boat again, so would be good to know what you go with,
