Which Boom Furler Is the Best

Thanks to all who participated in the pro's and con's of boom furls. A real mean question now is which furl configuiration is the best?

I know of a friend whose Harken furl jamed in a 80 mph gust of wind, surely there must be good reliable furls out there? One would've thought Harken has proved itself!

The Swedish furl is nice, simple & very reliable, shakes out easy, takes a little extra line, but worth it, if done neat looks cool too.

re: Which Boom Furler Is the Best

As noted in the prior thread, I'd go with a stack-pack style rather than furling. We own an in-boom furler, that's been great - but seriously not worth the expense.
