Thanks everyone! There is an
epirb, before I leave I do need to get it registered though. I am heading back to the Tampa Bay area for a couple of months and then plan to
head down south of Marco Island to kind of hang out for a while do some
fishing. Figure out what I need on the boat and what I want on the boat kind of two different things you know. I've been waiting all my life to try this but it does seem so difficult to let go of all the stuff we accumulate over the years but its necessary. And once you begin the process and then you're committed it's quite liberating really in a very strange way. And as far as it being shallow well I think I got the right boat for that. I will be
posting some updates later. Right now I'm still trying to get out of
Texas with some preparations on the boat. I actually hope to cast off before the end of the month. I thought that I would already be gone by now but it takes way longer than necessary to close on a boat. I am so frustrated because it just takes forever to get everything done and it really shouldn't. I closed on my house and that was easy and it took me less than 10 days to get everything done with how Home Inspections by the buyer and all the paperwork that they did is nothing compared to the boat. It's extremely frustrating that things don't move quicker. You would think that you could hand them the
money and sail away kind of like a car. But it doesn't seem to
work that way. Frustrating sitting in a
hotel room waiting on them when it's costing you a hundred bucks or so a day
