Want to Trade?

Hi everyone,

My family and I are very interested in trading our timeshare for a 20-30 foot sailboat. My timeshare is part of the Silver Leaf Resorts. I own a Presidential week 49 at the Hill Country Resort on Canyon Lake just north of San Antonio, Texas. My color is white. I also have what is called “Bonus Time” which allows us to stay Sunday night through Wednesday night for free. Thursday through Saturday is only $49.00 a night. The condo is a two bedroom lock-out. Silver leaf is also affiliated with RCI, which opens up endless opportunities.

If anyone is interested please let me know.

Thanks

Sorry if there is any misunderstanding the Bonus Time is in addition to your regular week.

I assume you're talking a week for a week swap, not a permanent trade.

I have a 27' in Kemah that I would trade you for a week, but I most-likely won't be finished refitting the interior with cushions until August or September.

Jetexas,

That would be something we would consider but we were hoping to trade even or more than likely us putting a little money down.

I am trying to see the upside to this for a boat owner?

They give you a sailboat or a heck of a deal with a down payment, and they get to pay for a timeshare for 1 week a year in CENTRAL TEXAS? Am I getting this right?

This is simply for a week right? Not permanently? Or are you hoping someone will give you the title to their boat for a week of vacation that they still have to pay for?

You don't have to pay for it. The week is free anytime in the white or red season for the rest of your life. I own it out right and have a clear and free deed plus it is tax deductible. The Bonus time is also free except Thursday - Saturday night. You can use the Bonus Time as much as you want and your week can be used just about anywhere in the world through the RCI program or the other Silver leaf Resorts.

Sorry for any confusion.

ahhhhhh, thanks. I couldn't grasp what the deal was.

It might help to post what kind and size of boat you are looking for.

Are there any yearly maintenance fees on the timeshare?

Yes there are yearly fees. I pay them monthly $65.00.

What we are looking for is a 20 to 30 foot boat that will sleep 4 to 6.

Aside from the annual fee what's the charge when you actually use your week?

Nothing, nada, zippo at any of the Silver Leaf Resorts. If you deposit the week with RCI then it is a $179.00 exchange fee at the time you book your week.
