Voyage Yachts

I am curious as what my esteemed fellow CF folks think about this

VOYAGE 575 - New Yachts

It is a bit of a departure from their previous models.

There is some interesting behind the scenes history on the design. Plans changed after Irma. Certainly my plans changed. My one year old Voyage 480 is gone, so depending on the insurance battles, I hope to own a boat again someday.

I really did love my 480. I had a lot of custom features on her. Sailed well, as well.

Sorry to hear about your 480. They sure look like nice boats! -Steve-

I like the renderings of the 480 a lot more.

Looks really nice. At first blush looks a little like the new Leopard 50 - interesting to see them adopt the forward cockpit. Too many berths and heads however!

boneboy:

Just curious, was your 480 at West End? We lost our brand-new Lagoon 42 to Irma at Road Reef Marina. We've been lucky and already have our insurance pay out. We are likely to re-order in the next week or so. We have already purchased a new build slot.

i hope things work out for you on the insurance. We have been very happy with the way we have been treated to date.

Jim

we were on the hard in west end. Not sure what happened but I think there must have been some tornadoes. Place became a grave yard.

I have a feeling that it will be some time for the insurance company, and I am not sure why. I would love to get my check, and in all likelihood would turn it around into another Voyage 480. I loved the boat, the company was great and I would love to support the economy. I think this is going to turn out to be a very frustrating time for all

Thanks

It has been a tough year. Family lost house in Harvey as well.
I guess these things remind you to count your blessings
