BYT = Bright Young Thing.

Public service is full of them, recent graduates who have conversations in that space going forward strategically speaking in order to construct a framework, going forward, so that proper consultation occurs, going forward and that all views are harmonised to create synergy, going forward.

Re: Victorian Boat License

Gemini 105MC, 34 foot, 14 foot wide, You can get them brand new in Melbourne for $280,000, Bare boat, Too expensive for me by the time I put electronics on it, and a Tender and outboard, Etc, They are built in The USA, About 1200 of them so far, Excellent Blue water capable, I am a resident of Victoria, I have a house here and postal address,Where is the cheapest place to Moor in Port Phillip Bay, East side preferably,
Looking at St Kilda Marina at the moment,
Still waiting on the Licenced survey in Fiji at the moment to make sure it is fully seaworthy.

You'll be waiting a long time to get a mooring at St. Kilda, they have been full up for years!

Nobody considers the Gemini as blue water capable - they are capable of an occassional crossing, but their true role is coastal cruising where they are an excellent choice.

They do not have the carrying capacity to make a blue water cruising catamaran. There are also concerns (particularly in earlier versions) of their strength to be able to cope over time in blue water conditions.

Light build is great up until you get caught in survival seas conditions.

Re: Victorian Boat License

Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron,
$900 to be nominated, $965 a year for membership and they have a swing mooring for me,
I asked them on Monday when I was there, But I wont be there long as I am going up north and across to the Kimberlys.
I seen a video one these boats being delivered from Florida to England across the Nrth Atlantic and they went through a hell of a storm, Surfing down 30 foot waves, So they cant be that bad in Blue water. and it did get there undamaged,
Also, I wont be going through storms like that if I can help it.

Well yes, I would assume we are in that boat but sometimes isn't just work out the way we would like.

But for Melbourne they are the best I found and if you know someone else as you are a C/F member I could see myself to nominate you if you like. The club is good but not very cruiser orientated racing is there no 1.

+ 1000 for the mooring
Probably closer to $2k for a cat plus the fee each two years to have it inspected.

Re: Victorian Boat License

St Kilda is a cow of a place to get too, Cant park any where, I live in Lilydale, I am currently also looking at Hastings or Yaringa, on Western Port Bay.

Geelong is 2.5 hours away from me,
Yaringa is only one hour,
St Kilda is one hour,
