Used Cat's

Everyone here is probubly getting tired of seeing me and all my question on here, Sorry. I'm new to sailing, and have tons of question.

I was wondering how old of a Cat everyone would feel comfortable with buying used if you were looking to do some major sailing across the ocean. I am just looking at prices of boats and wondering what would be the best value for a boat to be used for comfort and to cross the ocean.

Also, when buying used, what should you be looking for?

P.S. Thanks again guys, and I hope you don't get to upset with all these questions on here.

Age is meaningless, look at design and condition.

Don't worry about asking questions. It's the reason for the forum.

Wouldn't worry too much about age - check the condition of the boat and how much of a refit it has, how much gear etc.
