Trimaran gathering New Years Staniel Cay

I am trying to put together a trimaran gathering for the Famous Staniel Cay New Years Regatta 2014! So far I have a 38' Cross, 38' Harris and a Condor 40 signed up. There are several openings for crew this summer to bring the boats down the coast. The Harris is at the famous Walter Greene's multihull yard and is looking for crew to babysit her. Anyone else interested?

That sounds like fun, although I don't know if I'm emotionally capable of planning that far ahead.

My ex and I won the 1999 event overall, picture in the Nassau paper and everything, on a 45' Chris White Voyager series cat. For some reason the Staniel Cay folks screwed up and put some other boats name on the trophy (and on the t-shirts!). I even got one of the regatta folks to look it up some years later and he admitted I was right and they were wrong. I'm boycotting buying any t-shirts until they fix it. Maybe if the rest of the multihullers boycott t-shirt sales we can see justice done?

Be that as it may, I think I'll try to get there. I'm on a much slower boat now, but maybe I can win the party!

A word to the wise: Do your serious partying after the race, not the night before. Especially if you want your crew to show up.
