Re: Travel Lift

Heading south, 2 yards at Ft. Myers Beach, Diversity Yacht Service and Gulf Marine Ways. Both can handle up to 26' beam. Gulf Marine Ways requires going under a 65' bridge, Diversity is outside the bridge.

As previously mentioned, Progressive Marine on Salt Creek in St. Pete.

Diversity just did bottom paint and a few other small things for me. Great work, very competitive, and very professional. Just have to time the slipway as it sits in some pretty severe current.

Re: Travel Lift

I think when the original poster stated 50T, it meant it required at least a 50T for width. Obviously, 50T weight capacity does not guarantee any width capacity. But width capacity usually increases with weight capacity.

Re: Travel Lift

Just went To inspect Progressive in St. Petersburg. Very impressive, they had 4 cats in the yard at present. Our 45' Voyage quoted $3100.00 to bottom paint, includes lifting and floating, two gallons paint, no daily fees. It's a full days travel for us to get there, they have a nice dock with power, if schedule properly come in the evening before stay the night on the boat. Trying to schedule next week.

You're comfortable with only 2 gallons?

FWIW, I just put 6 gallons of SeaHawk BioCop TF on mine. Diversity was $3650 inclusive. Stayed at their dock the night before haul out for free.

So, if you go with 6 gallons, you're looking at $4200.

Re: Travel Lift

Go to the Aeroyacht web page and you can print a categorized list of all the yards that can haul cats of any size.
