Thanks everyone for the replies. Now we are torn between the dynema and the polyester offshore
netting.Here's how it seems to look to me: the dynema lets more water
through hence less chance of ripping with head
waves. I am still concerned about how to repair the dynema if it rips. The small piece we bought here in Georgetown
to last till we get back ripped and anything you use to tie it back together rips the strands of the net. Maybe there is a way that is better for repair.
The polyester netting is something we have had on the boat and we like it as it is comfortable but it did degrade. The vinyl would help but it does seem sticky.
Maybe we will have to look at cost next and warranty.
