Tortola Marine Management - Experiences?

Does anyone here have experience with Tortola Marine Managment, either as a charterer or owner? I would appreciate any thoughts on the company and their management, expertise, quality of maintenance, etc.

We did our first charter ever with TMM at their Tortola shop and were quite pleased on the whole. They're first tier (new boats).

If you want to contemplate a second tier charter house, I suggest Conch.

Chartered with Barney and crew at TMM for many, many years. Never an issue.
My last 4 charters were with Provalor, a smaller company, more focused on service.
Jim and Cecilia do a great job in helping you get to where you want to go.

Sorry to be on the other side. We chartered with TMM in Belize a few years ago. Worst charter of over a dozen, we've ever done (so far as the charter company was concerned). Had a 4 month old boat, too. Would never charter with them again.

If you are chartering in the BVIs, first tier we like the Moorings, however even for the same money we'd still probably go with BVI Yacht Charters. The personal attention with BVI Yacht Charters is the real difference.
