Re: Today's Marina Visit

I finally put 2 and 2 together as they say and realised that 1.5 months after I took these photos in Hobart, that this:

turned into this:

Pure magic cat wrecked off NSW south coast.

I'm not surprised, it's hard to tell what it was from the photos of the wreck.

The Darwin port put me off and I hadn't realised.

Re: Today's Marina Visit

The cat marked Darwin AUS 857194, is (was) I think Pure Magic which was wrecked on the NSW south coast on her way north. The owners walked off to shore.
We spent a few pleasant days with them in Launceston over new year, when we were hauled out painting and they were sightseeing, and we had a tour of the boat. Strip plank timber and epoxy. Nice.

The side window in the wrecked photo looks smaller? Might be the angle???

Re: Today's Marina Visit

I think the salon has the 2 forward windows then angles and has that small window then angles again and there are the 2 side windows. You can see the little window in the bottom pic but not in the top one and vice versa for the side windows (because they are gone).
