Are there building plans for the tiki 21 that aren't in metric?

I don't know, but you can easily get tape measures that have both inch and metric scales on them.

Not in most of the world, and really surely it doesn't matter - if the plans say 1275 mm then just measure that? If metric measurements are a concern maybe not building is the better option. Having said that James Wharram is a pom so maybe he has a soft spot for archaic measurements.

25.4 mm/inch. If you really can't use a metric tape, then spend a few hours converting all the dimensions.
