There is a book by J Marrtin Troost called The Sex Life of Cannibals

It's an interesting read more so if you have been there, lots if laughs. There have never been cannibals in Kiribati, The books title us about the dogs on Kiri. Although I have heard of old customs of keeping the dead unburied for mourning then eating breadfruit after dipping it in the juices of the dearly departed as the body starts to deteriorate must come close.
