Re: The Flyin Hawaiian is gone!

Well hell, how many of us have wanted to bite a harbor master at one time or another.

On a serious note: this is bordering on harassment, don't you HR hating SA groupies have anything else to do but follow him around and report his goings on? Do you even read what you are writing? Can you hear yourselves? So much mis information about a guy that has done nothing to you but build a big ass boat that may or may not break up in the future.

I think HR was close comparing this behavior to preschool, I'd compare it to a bunch of teen girls.

Is this what CF is for? To harass another boater?

There, now I've said my peace and counted to three.

Finley Peter Dunne: "The newspaper.... comforts th' afflicted, afflicts th' comfortable, buries th' dead an' roasts thim aftherward". (Versions since by Clare Booth Luce, "Mother" Jones, Gene Kelly, etc.)

Some sailors need comforting. Some might benefit from a bit of reality checking.
Sometimes this is best done with tact, diplomacy, and encouragement.
Sometimes the tacts need to be a bit sharper.

Flyin' Hawaiian sailboat builder jailed after fight with Loch Lomond harbor master - Marin Independent Journal

This whole story is a tragedy in the theatrical sense of the word.

Re: The Flyin Hawaiian is gone!

He is out, the FH is underway, at 3 pm seen going under the Richmond San Rafael Bridge. Speculation is Richardson Bay is the destination. Much easier for the Raccoon lunch time snack. Yes I said HR is out of jail and is captain of the FH, thank you Marin County Courts.

Re: The Flyin Hawaiian is gone!

Before they leave the Gate we should have them supply photos of all their couches for later identification if need be...

They made it to Port of Richmond against current and winds, but the was a pan pan pan alert from the CG for 65' vessel aground near Marina Bay.
