Has anyone seen this new cat? It seems like a comfortable fast world crusier.

Has anyone on the forum purchsed a new Catana in the last few years. I wonder if the production quality issues they seem to have had in the past are likely to be better or worse since their acquisition.

Any thoughts appriciated.

There are some videos from the Paris boat show of the Catana 50 on You Tube. I sailed a Catana 471 in the Catana Rally in May 2006 and we did 400nm down the windward islands. If you are interested I could email you a "trip report" for a fellow cruising friend that was curious about the boat.

My brother and I bought a new Catana 52 a year and a half ago. Quality and support have been excellent.
