Thank-you

I would like to thank-you all for your help in the past few days. I think we are finally getting a more civilised tone here in the Multi-forum. GMac stated something in another thread that i think is very true. Some people have made comments that have then been read incorrectly as a slanted comment. Please understand several points.
The Cruisers Forum is world wide. That means you will always read sentence structure that is often used very differently all over the world. Words, phrases and structure can be very different and often can be taken the wrong way. "Tone" can be mistaken so easily as there is no other way to voice tone than to use smiley faces. I would ask that many of you start using those as tools. They can be of great benefit to helping other readers understand the way you are trying to express yourself.
And a big one, no matter how little experience a poster has, a very experienced poster can still learn something.
And adding to the "Big ones", this is the biggest I believe, of issues on ALL BB's. Once we make a post, we have to let it go. Unless it is factual information that can be continued in discussion, but that is not what I mean. I mean that sometimes we can post and then read multiple posts all saying something different. We have to let the post go and trust someone will read and take the information on board. But we can not continue to hold on and try "yelling" over the crowd because we are afraid that our information is not being heard. Hard yes and I speak from my own personal experience. But it is what we have to do, or it all goes to custard.
Once again thanks for the far more "fun" information being posted of late. For me, it has actually changed my feeling on reading this Multi forum. I am actually enjoying reading here, which in the past I did not.

Does anyone remember the Kingston Trio?
Here’s what they had to say (sing), about “conflict”, back in 1959:

They're Rioting in Africa (The Merry Minuet) ~ by Sheldon Harnick

Intro:
There are days in my life when everything is dreary
I grow pessimistic, sad and world weary.
But when I'm tearful and fearfully upset
I always sing this merry little minuet:

They're rioting in Africa (whistling)
They're starving in Spain (whistling)
There's hurricanes in Flo-ri-da (whistling)
And Texas needs rain the whole world is festering with unhappy souls
The French hate the Germans, the Germans hate the Poles
Italians hate Yugoslavs, South Africans hate the Dutch
AND I DON'T LIKE ANYBODY VERY MUCH!!
But we can be tranquil and thankful and proud
For man's been endowed with a mushroom-shaped cloud
And we know for certain that some lovely day Someone will set the spark off
AND WE WILL ALL BE BLOWN AWAY!!
They're rioting in Africa (whistling)
There's strife in Iran
What nature doesn't so to us
Will be done by our fellow man.

Fanny means vagina in the southern latitudes. ...and many of my asian friends have a constant chuckle about the cross pollination of the sounds between our lanquages.

"yeah right" in ozzie means I dont belive you.... I have been as guilty as many.

To anybody who I have caused offense : ) sorry.\

I guess American marketing firms might have a challenge or two over there.

I am sorry. I can think faster than I can type. I think. No maybe I can type faster than I can think. Got the thought? I know I have to let my wife read this post. She will get a new meaning about the Uk men talking about her fanny and I thought they kept yelling watch your head. I about died when one of my students from England asked for a rubber.

An eraser----he made a mistake on his paper. The young man, 4th grader, just moved to the U.S.A. from England. A real neat student.

Disagreement Pyramid

A bit more germane to Wheel's original post...

You've probably heard of the "Food Pyramid". Well, here's the "Disagreement Pyramid". All is well if debate is kept in the upper regions.
