Indeed - agreed, Its my right to be able to insult a kiwi, but if a pom, or septic does it, I'll give 'em a belt on behalf of my very good friends the New Zealanders.

Not sure if that includes me as a "Crapaud" (Norman French for....Toad ....and it's a term of endearment, go figure ).

But FWIW I lay claim to prior use, if not the actual invention of the expression............"Ay"

If I ever get back to Kiwi Land I will be claiming Royalties for the use

I think some of you guys have been watching too many episodes of “home and away”…but I am all for a brotherhood amongst sailors, regardless of where their home port is

Watching it...we ARE "home and away". We are just one big happy family down under and like most families we like to scrap a bit among ourselves but watch out anyone who tries to interfere from outside the family.

Yeah Pelagic, every one wants to live in Summer Bay, it's sooo nice but a very dangerous area if you check the statistics on cataclismic events like fire, kidnapping, cyclone etc. Regards from Jeff.

Now look at that, Only Ozzies and Kiwi's can talk Politics, insult each other, play sports dirty and still get to the bar that night and shout each other a drink and a good ole "Mate" type pat on the back.
Cheers to all you Ozzy mates.
