The boat had a very good survey
last June and was given an overall vessel rating of Above Average condition by Jonathan Sands. As we all know a lot can change in a year with boats approaching the 20 year mark.
Excited! - Apprehensive - Trepidation
I want this boat to be "THE BOAT" but the survey will help a lot in making the final decision.
Sorry but John Sands is the reason I made the comment I did. No accreditation, no insurance
and no etc etc.
I've worked on 4 mantas, no common large build issues, mostly systems, lack of maintenance
issues like on many used boats if the rigging
is over 10 years old the surveyor
is probably going to reccommend replacement no matter how it looks and the insurance
co may not cover a rigging
related failure until it has been replaced.
