Sunreef Cat in a Box design

Sunreef must have used an Amazon box as insparation for this Sunreef Supreme 68.

They just beat Lagoon by far with this Amazon box design.

I really love the 1 foot of bridge deck clearance. Will start slapping in 10 knots of wind.

Re: Sunreef Cat in a Box design

I would agree, absolutely awful. But if you were to scale the boat, I'm guessing the bridgedeck clearance is closer to 3', still not enough.

I'm sure someone here will pipe up soon saying that comfort is at least as important as performance on a "cruiser".

If you keep it on a lake and use it as a floating home I guess it's not bad.

My first thought on that 2nd picture was pontoon boat.

I'm sure it will do well in the charter trade.

Re: Sunreef Cat in a Box design

This really does add to the critical comments of cats. Its no wonder some older cats are likely to start appreciating in value to 'real' cruisers. These are simply insane.....pandering to only the charter market - I guess that is where the cash lies and money talks (it usually says 'good-bye).

When the next guy that comes on here asking 'What boat should I buy?', having done no research, I'm gonna recommend this one.

Looks like they prototyped it with a Lego set, and then just scaled it up.

In the "sailing" pic, exhaust water is coming out.

Taste is subjective of course, but it's hard to imagine anyone could find that attractive.
