Re: Sunreef Cat in a Box design

This boat was at the Singapore boat show and apparently a number were sold , the layout appeals to the Asian market, sails are just for decorative purposes but the aircon works well. LOL

Re: Sunreef Cat in a Box design

I think the inside looks very well designed. They sell a version without the alibi mast, motor only.

Honestly the outside looks like the designer had only a straight ruler and a pencil and the briefing to design something that fits around the nice inside.

In a world increasingly filled with fugly boats, this is the ugliest POS I have ever seen. I would be ashamed to draw it, much less build it.

Re: Sunreef Cat in a Box design

The problem is everyone is thinking of this as a boat. Think of it as a house that floats & it's not so bad.

it looks very pretty to me.

you get place like a house & island that would be worth 10m+ here in AUS, and on top of that you can move it to dodge taxes. And in flat water can even sail although likely never will.

It's great buy at bargain price.
