Solaris cats

I've seen a couple of Solaris cats for sale lately, does anybody have first hand knowledge or experience with them. They seem like a good fit for what my wife and I are looking for as far as a liveaboard, solid, two staterooms, two heads. I know they are a fairly heavy boat, not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion. Possibly not the best in heading up into a headwind, not a biggie to me. Thanks for any information!

I have a 40' Solaris. Built in 1991, when surveyed, no hull problems, cracks, moisture damage or anything else. I am still having some challenges with some of the electronics and refrigeration, but none of that is builder problems. Sturdy, heavy boat, but I can get 7-8 kts in 15kts of wind. Like the cockpit set up, all sails can be handled from there, I have roller furling forward and in-mast furling also. So far all has been great.

Bayoubouy, I have a sister ship to Bill and would echo his comments about construction. Which particular model of Solaris are you looking at?
