Snell Easy 10.5

I am a long time mono sailer considering moving to a cat. Has anyone got experience or knowledge of the performance of the Snell Easy 10.5. Thanks

Where are you likely to sail with it. Would be more of a coastal rather than international cruiser.

cheers

Currently have a mono in Wollongong about 40nm south of Sydney. Initially east coast between Jervis Bay and Gold Coast with more extended trips on retiring in about 12-18 months

Re: Snell Easy 10.5

The Easy Cats are an excellent reliable line of boats, if built to plan and instruction. The designer - Peter Snell is a very nice chap who will usually be happy to help with some advice regarding his boats. I would certainly not consider buying an Easy without talking to Peter. I know that the very first boat "pelican" has been round to the Kimberlys and I think SE Asia, and that his own 12 metre and his 11.6 and 37 have done South Pacific passages.

Buy a good one and you will have a safe comfortable honest cruiser.
