That is a beautiful boat. I've enjoyed reading about their trip.

(And they actually know how to take boat photos. )

Did I miss it or did they not post the price?

It is annoying when a seller does that because the first question is, "how much?"

Is it gonna a be kept a secret?

Great ad otherwise...

<sigh>

So, "how much?" - LOL

Re: Slapdash selling the farm!!

Yeah. What is it with sellers not posting a price? Maybe the make of boat should be kept secret as well.

You could just bid on "a boat for sale" and maybe get an Oyster for the price of a Laser.....or vice versa.

Re: Slapdash selling the farm!!

They said to look at this site for comparable boats for prices:
2004 Gemini Catamaran 105Mc Sail Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com

So you ask them and they said go look at Ragtime?

They want you to make a bid?

I'd rather deal with Ragtime's owner. At least it wouldn't waste our time with 20 questions.

Popular boat, in great nick. Maybe they hold all the cards.

Oh, well. It's their nest.

Re: Slapdash selling the farm!!

I didn't ask them, the page said to look at comparable Geminis on Yachtworld. That is one I found that is a 2004. There are other details that will affect the price I'm sure.

My dream of being first to circumnavigate in a Gemini is close to being squashed (yeah, right...)

Re: Slapdash Selling the Farm !

First off, this shouldn't be in classifieds (it was moved). I was just posting the news. I have no authority to post the sale here. No a price was not posted on the blog, for that I think it may be "offer". May be on Yachtworld.....

Usually when they do that, you can bet it's going to be a lot.

Re: Slapdash Selling the Farm !

As a Gemini 105Mc owner I have been folowing Slapdash for a while now sence I think Hawaii, The boat is waiting to get a good weather window to cross the Atlantic to South Carolina where they bought the boat and complete the circumnavication. Great boat but the motor has over 3000 hours on it.

Re: Slapdash Selling the Farm !

These guys are from the town I live in and have been my inspiration for buying our current sail boat and ultimately a Cat in the Caribbean, (my plan).

What an adventure they have had and literally thousands of us vicariously travelling with them!

I appreciate them a lot!
