Shuttleworth Cat Launched!

Not been on here much recently but I thought I'd pop in to thank all those who've offered opinions and ideas in reply to all the questions I've asked during the build of my cat. We launched her three weeks ago and have been working on the long list of jobs that need completing before the first sail which should be in the next week or so...

So, thanks!

Thanks! We're in Wales, it's green and pretty because of the almost constant rain - for the last month at least.

The boat was started in a polytunnel and finished in an ex spud shed with crucial access to the water (country lanes don't work with a 23ft beam).

Moving towards the first sail at some point in the next few days (if the shoddy service provided by our sailmaker ever produces a Jib). Will try to get some footage of the action for sure.

Thanks! We're in Wales, I knew it. My wife and I usually travel thru England teaching horse back riding clinics and unlike most visitors we end up on beautiful farms like yours. Great looking catamaran, I've heard of Shuttlesworth designed cat's there really low and fast. Good luck keep us posted on your progress.

We're too busy/lazy at the minute to write a blog although might do at some point and will definitely get some footage of the sea-trials. There are some shots of the dramatic extraction of the boat through the inconveniently small doors of the shed from last autumn - almost as much fun as the launch::

All I can say is "Bravo" and that's just getting her out of the shed.
Must have been many other challenges. Looks like your ingenuity handles these challenges well.
