Seawind roof options

Just curious about Seawind hard top options.

Some of the pictures show Targa style with what kind of looks like panels that snap in to make full roof? Other images have full roof.

Seawind website doesn't have anything specific about it.

So simply asking any Seawind owners that have details to share.

Thanks!

Re: Seawind roof options

The Seawind 1160 Deluxe has a Targa fiberglass center piece with canvas sides panels on 2007 models.

You don't say what model. But the new Seawind 1160 models all have solid salon extensions.

Re: Seawind roof options

Thank you for your replies.

My initial confusion actually started on the Seawind web site.

Looking at pictures of 1160 deluxe you can see different roofs over cockpit area.. (Targa top and full top)

And interestingly; several used boats for sale are using a mix of pictures of different models such as the 1000xl, 1160 lite, 1160 deluxe and occasionally 1200. (so who knows what the boat for sale really looks like).

(as previously mentioned the Seawind site also mixes newer, older, and larger models in the pictures too...? (I naively assumed they would be better at Marketing)

So I just trying to figure if the tops varied by by model, or was just an option... and/or were they just sloppy with images and the cockpit roof is a model year thing.

Re: Seawind roof options

Let's see, the Seawind 1000 and 1200 are no longer built. Early models of the 1000 had a canvas targa extension to the hard top salon. Latest had a hard top extension.

The original 1169's had targa cutouts for canvas. Then they built fiberglass panels to fill in. And now there are no targa cutouts. I don't know what model years changed over.

1160's, not 1169's
