Ronstan T-Track and Slides

Hi just wondering what people think about this idea have a 38 ft catamaran and have 20 hp Honda 4stroke outboards that have just broken there slide mechanism it was made out of c section 3 mm aluminum and this split the c section. Want to make it stronger so have two options to make it out of heavier material tells was 3 mm and l have the option to make it out of 6 mm. The other option is to use ronstan t section rail with sliders see link below. These have a mwl of 1000kg and a bl of 2000kg the motors weigh 50 kg but when they'd re running not quite sure what sort of pressure they would make the boat weighs in at 4.5 tonne. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Not an engineer - but that looks like it should be okay. Perhaps a conversation with all yacht spars (AYS - Brisbane) or someone similar would be worthwhile. I say all yachts cause the guys there built a 40 foot light weight cat that had 20 HP outboards mounted on slides.
