Reverse Polarity Problem

Got a new Lagoon 380 and ran my Honda 3000 generator. When plugged into 110 circuit, the reverse polarity light glows brightly. When I plug the same cord into the AC circuit, no reverse polarity light comes on. So seems like the boat's 110 circuit has the reverse polarity issue. Right? how to I diagnose and fix it?

Isn't the 110 volt circuit the AC circuit? Or by AC do you maybe mean air con?

Anyway AFAIK there really isn't such a thing as "reverse polarity" in alternating current. The +ve and -ve swap poles a few dozen times a second.
