Question about Manta

I saw around the web that some Mantas 42 had rudders issues in the past. (it seems due to manufacturer quality and short stocks). I also read that Manta replaced some of them even if not anymore under warranty.
I would like to ask if someone knows from which hull number, or year, the factory definitely took care of the problem. Thanks if someone can help me.

I want also add that I have been trying to joint the Manta Forum (where to pose this question) but it seems that it is a "PRIVATE INTERNET CLUB" for only few peoples.

Since Manta went out of business I wonder what the point of your question is. If you are looking for a repair on Manta's nickel you are probably out of luck. If you are just looking for a replacement rudder try these guys;

Hull #95 (2005?) had a problem with their rudder where the the rudder post only went ~6" into the rudder and had a mild steel tab welded to it. Manta had changed the sub-contractor of the rudder right around this time for a short period of time. This is the only boat with the defect I know of, although it could be possible for boats around this one to also have the defect.

The other rudder issues were damage from impacts or water intrusion and freeze/thaw cycles. These weren't manufacturing defects.

I was speaking to a couple who own a Manta '42 which is currently on the market. They said they had a weld fail inside one of the rudders and had to rebuild it.

Abaco, if you tell me the name of the boat, I can tell you the hull #. That will help fvn narrow down the year/hull # of boats with this potential problem.
