Prout 50'

This boat is in my marina for sale:

West Coast Multihulls (San Diego, CA)&

I walked past her and think she is a very good-looking boat. I have read numerous reviews on them and see about 50/50 pro and con. If anyone has had one how did you like it and would you recommend it or not. I would be interested to know out of curiosity. I am not looking for a boat but this one has me wondering if it as a good a boat as it looks.

Detailed information I have from the Internet, a lot of specs and information out there. I was asking for people's opinions.

Re: Prout 50'

We toured a Prout 50 at a boat show. The quality is good, the finish work is amazing. Luxurious +++. My wife loves the layout of the cockpit and the salon. I have concerns about the helm as it was very tight to get in/out of and I'm a skinny white boy! Once at the helm there is no way to get to the side deck and the wood railing used for a back rest is uncomfortable. It's just not well thought out. If I had to guess why the one at your marina is going down in price is that it's a 4/4 layout instead of an owners layout.

Re: Prout 50'

If not mistaken, this boat was built in China and is one of the first manufactured.
