My wish list is almost identical to your's - with a bit more focus on comfort. the antares 44i was also at the top of my list, but having a hard time justifying the current price. Take a look at the broadblue 435... I think you'll find it makes your short list.

id love to see a side by side comparision of all the major boats out here so its easer to find what you are looking for at this time I am studying helm locations a few options and why are so many boats steering at starboard side not port? hmm

Id like a boat that if pushed could make 200 miles a day but I wish for comfort for the family I dont go sailing to be in a hurry, I even find I am starting to ride my jetski slower to look around more so one day ill be ready for 5 miles a hour

Get her to try using a galley up while underway in any sort of chop and she may change her mind. As to bathtubs - pretty rare in boats of that size range. My Solaris Sunstream 40 does have a bathtub and it is never used for that purpose (although my fiance keeps suggesting that we install jacuzzi jets for use when at a dock!). A sufficient source of hot water should not be a problem: my boat is also equipped with an on-demand propane water heater (as well as the standard heat-exchanger/120 volt tank) and there is no problem getting sufficient hot water - in fact, you could heat all of your stored water without delay from the propane heater alone.

Personally, though, I think that such features should never be deal-breakers - especially if you are in the market for a used boat. Since all boats are compromises, find one that you believe strikes the best balance for your needs between performance, comfort, safety and appearance and then you can always add more solar panels, a solid bimini, a watermaker, an on-demand propane waterheater, etc., if it is not so equipped. In fact, converting a small forward cabin to a tub/laundry/storage area would be fairly simple in many boats, if your significant other absolutely must have one. While we don't use the bathtub as such, we do use it for cleaning sails, particularly dirty towels and, the entire tub compartment has now become the only shower area that we use on the boat (it keeps mould/humidity out of the other two heads).
