Perry Catamarans?

I see these periodically and have no idea who Perry is or anything about them. I do know he is not Bob Perry. Anybody know?

Re: Perry Catamarans?

Brian Perry built a number of models over time, including the Grainger based Azure 38/40. In the 2000s he and his team and family were building primarily the Perry 43, which was an evolution of the earlier boats. (and the 57). Their factory was in Coomera in Qld. The 43 is pretty well regarded as a strong and comfortable cruising platform that also performs quite well. Quite beautifully finished boats. They hold their value pretty well and usually dont present any significant problems. The company was taken over by someone else a few years ago, I am not sure of its current status.

You will see of lot of these out cruising

Re: Perry Catamarans?

Bob Perry did design a catamaran - I have seen it and it is a very nice looking boat. Heard a rumor that it was lost in an accident, though.
