parachute drogue

HI Folks
There hasn't been much discussion on drogues recently. Have they fallen out of favor? Been thinking of selling my parachute. It's too small for my boat anyway.

I built a Jordan Series Drogue from a kit. I once tried the leader section of it just for fun and was impressed by the force these little cones can generate.
