Outremer electric drive comparison test

It is interesting to see a side by side test of a hybrid compared to conventional diesels. It does suggest that electric drives have merit however it will probably be a while before the best configuration gets sorted out.

Interesting. Looks like they are using the Fischer/Panda AC drives. While D/E still has a way to go, I dont think AC is the way. DC makes more sense to me.
