OMG !

I saw one of these today: 62′ C « Bob Oram Design at my local marina, it isn't the one in the picture there, but it was only lauched three days ago, I asked to have a look on board, I was astounded how good the design is, and how practical it seems to long term cruising.
Just wondering what you think of it.

Any chance you could get some photos or get owner/builder to post some?

I have to go down there again tomorrow, if the guy is there I'll ask, he did mention he built it himself.

David Lee Roth Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it

Bob's boats are pretty much all designed with practicality at the forefront. Ease of construction and value for money too.

His 50-60 footers acheive similar displacements to Gunboats, but without the huge use of expensive carbon and other exotics.

IMO his kit boats are the best value for money on the market.

I was down at the Marina again this morning, it had been moved down to Coomera, if it comes back again any time soon, I'll do my best to get some pics.

Let's say you are already happy, and make a lot of money. Would you still hold that against a man having a big boat?.........i2f

Just wondering what you think of it.
Now that's a boat a very large dog could live on.

Drumbeat is for sale

I remembered the name and recalled that I saw somewhere on the web that she is for sale and now I can't find it. Just wanted to look at that price tag again.
