Okay, lets go for a ride

This monohuller is ready to make the transition! But I need to go for a couple rides first to convince me. Sorry but chartering isn't really in the budget...(we're saving for a boat!!) its probably going to be a couple years before I'm ready to make a purchase but I'm already deep into the research. I'm looking at getting an older boat that could be purchased under 200k so I'm looking at boats like the FP Athena and Antigua, Voyage 380, Lagoon 380/410, Manta 40, 38, and the Kennex 380 with extended cruising/circumnavigation (tradewind) in mind. If anyone on the east coast is interested in taking part in converting a monohuller into a multihuller give me a shout! My eager wife and I are experienced passagemakers (we have a 38' mono) and I hold a Coast Guard master's license. We're located on the Georgia coast and would like to find someone on the east coast, let us give you an excuse to go sailing! We don't care if you're looking for crew to sail to the Carib or just want to go for a daysail. Try me at
