New Multi Price Lists

I think it would be a great reference tool to have all the new cats and tris price lists posted in one thread. If we could just keep it to that then we could all access this at a quick glance.
I'll start with this one.
http://www.kiriacoulis.com/sales/lag...management.pdf
Listing links with the options will also be acceptable. I would like to see the entire manufacturer's models posted in one link if possible like that one from Lagoon.

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Good idea. Note there is no tax or import duty on those prices so add 20% or so for VaT or whatever. Good as a reference point though as everyone's tax and import rates will differ

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Thanks Monte.
Here's FP. I'm not sure if this is 2014 or for the 2015 models. Maybe someone can help me out.

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Price ex factory for pretty well speced L450 appears to be €450k, helia44 €473k
L400 €326 lipari 41 €333
It's a bit hard to compare apples with apples without going through all the options list but it would seem the similar models are price similarly between lagoon and FP.

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Hi Sand crab,

Fully equiped owner version Helia (upgraded engines to 55 HP, folding props, A/C, 9 KVA genset) delivered in La Rochelle will be around 530-540.000 € max. with current prices. FP increases the prices each year in January by 2-4%.

Because of harsh competition, the dealers can give away from their commission anything from 5% to 13-14% in extreme conditions. This obviouslly make a huge difference.. Big charter companies can get the same boat at around 500.000 €. Some items are very well priced, eg. 2X3 blades folding prop at 1.800 € some are not. Probably FP doesn't want the lose his production pace with such items like AC, genset, watermaker, solar panels, etc. We most of the time install these items here in our yard to save some 15-20.000 € for the customers...

VAT will obviously depend on the flag you want to fly.

Under similar conditions, Saba 4 cabin/4 heads owner version will be around 720-730.000 €.

I am not a dealer and I cannot give you more detailed info but I believe this would give an idea. You can PM me if you need more precise info.

Cheers

Yeloya

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Good info yeloya, from my experience lagoon is similar with pricing policy and extras. Some are good value and can't be done cheaper after delivery ( radar, VHF, folding props etc) and some are very highly marked up ( WM, solar etc )
For buyers this might mean an extended stay at La Rochelle while they have equipment fitted ( not a bad place to be )

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Maybe we can add the Catana of similar size as well; the new 47 list price is at 609.000 €. However even the standart dacron sails are extra ..

With the options that were considered earlier for Antares and Saba you easyly come to 800-850.000 € range, if not more..

I haven't seen the price list for Outremer neither asked for it but the owner of O 51 # 1 had told me a finished price was around 850.000 €. The boat had an extras like rotatif aluminıum mast, furling spi, overlapped genoa (instead of standart self tacking jib), upgraded main to hydranet, etc.
Oh yes, he also had a famous carbon tiller and seats on both sides..A small genset but no AC, teak or whatsoever.
He also said that he's got some extra discount as he agreed to take the boat to Cannes and Istanbul boat shows.

Cheers

Just out of curiosity, let's try to translate one of these into landed-in-OZ equivalents as:

  • E450K = A$652K;
  • Then add something for delivery costs which'd be in a range of around A$70K (by ship) down to ~$30K (DIY with a bit of professional crew?)...so say split the diff at ~A$50K; and
  • Add 5% Duty + 10% GST (applied on the purchase price plus delivery costs) = A$105K...
...to suggest an OZ RRP of something over A$800K, perhaps up to $850K all up for a vessel ship-delivered and then fitted locally with local warranty support etc?

For a while there was a marked 'premium' in OZ -- Some suggested due to the stronger domestic economy -- but we wonder if that's still the case. Anyone checked OZ new vessel prices recently?

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Your pricing is correct D&D. Obviously the exchange rate has a lot to do with pricing.
Yeloya, the outreymer is around 480K I believe, although I haven't seen a price list. I was speaking with the owner and the price seemed reasonable at the time.

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Well, K 480 € seems to be reasonable.Obviously we need to know what kind of equpment was on it. Outremers can highly be customized, thus the price can vary substantially according to option list you opt for..
Cheers

Re: New Multi Price Lists

The trouble with this is that you are not making correct comparisons. You can only do so by considering the exact same specced boats.

I use the term above of "pretty good spec". Mind you I have yet to see a Helia with anything like this "pretty good spec". All I have seen are significantly highed specced including mine.

So let me give you some actual figures for the same spec for actual quotes.

Helia 44 - 454K Euro (so called pretty good spec)

To bring it up to what I would call a adequate spec - another 100K Euro ex France - I did it in Aus for A$100K

Prices now gone up 2%

Into Aus A$880K for "pretty good spec"
Into Aus A$1050K for what I would call adequate spec

I know of 5 Helia's that would have a new replacement cost of A$1.1 mill.

Lagoon 450

About $15K Euro cheaper

Outremer 45

2014 prices

For standard and offshore pack 535K Euro
For what I would call adequate spec 680K Euro

If you want the sport pack then another 100K Euro

Again this is still not adequate comparison because my Helia adequate spec has a screecher or spinnaker and rigging and this is in the sport pack for the Outremer.

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Re: New Multi Price Lists

Good info cwj. I find the 100k euro to be a lot to bring it up to your required spec. I believe the cruising pack price was around 440k, so what adds up the additional 100k? I can imagine folding props, larger engines, generator, heating and Aircon and a few other items might add up, but 100k seems a lot. I think we added around 20-30k of extras to our L400 with folding props, engine upgrade, radar, AIS, additional fridge and a few other knickknacks, but we do without the factory fitted WM, solar generator and Aircon and additional electric winches, electric toilets, cockpit shades/clears etc
Agreed it's best to compare apples with apples and it sounds like you did that with the L450. Interesting to know it's a bit cheaper, although 4 tonne heavier and a foot or two longer than the Helia
