Need Trimaran Information

Hi
Can anybody tell me who designed the Waverider/Easyrider 41 trimaran. I know she was built in New Plymouth, NZ but do not know who designed or built her. I need to get the original design, rigging plan and sail plan, etc. I would appreciate any info I can get.
Rod

First of all Rod, welcome to the forum. If this doesn't bring a response, you may want to consider posting a bit on some other threads in our community and then starting a new thread with a heading that identifies that Waverider/Easyrider 41.

Thanks for that. I am still finding my way around the site not having been involved with one before.
I will take your advice and appreciate your welcome and your help.

Rod, no thanks required. Why don't you go to the meets and greets forum and introduce yourself? I can't recall how many posts are required before you can start your own thread (although it is not very many), but it is an essential rule in order to cut down on spammers.

Call Jaynes Marine in Reedville VA. It is a multihull only yard. Many tri owners there. Larry Pollock has lived on his tri for thirty years and would help you.

Re: Need Trimaran Information

Hi
I have found new information on the Easyrider 41 trimaran (apparently it was never a Waverider??) and it was built by Dennis Lobb (known for his Castaway 12 catamarans built in Coffs Harbour, Australia) in NZ before he moved to Australia. The word is that he only built 2??? and he may well have designed them as well.
Does anybody know anything about where I can contact Dennis Lobb or get some info on this Easyrider 41 trimaran design and plans.

Thanks for the info. I have contacted Dennis Lobb who designed and built the Easyrider 41 after designing and building an AA 48 and sailing it to Tahiti, I think and sold the boat there.
He designed and built Bohemian Rhapsody for himself, being influenced by the designs of Piver and Jim Brown.
He only sold the boat here in Australia about 6-7 years ago to a couple from Mackay who had it when the mini tornado hit. Mystery solved and Dennis is quite happy to address any of my queries which is much appreciated.
Thanks again.
