Need diesel mechanic recommendation in Corpus Christi, TX

Can anyone recommend a reasonable and honest diesel mechanic in Corpus Christi...? I am trying to buy a tri that has a Yanmar YSB-8, single cylinder. Needs new piston/ head gasket/ O-rings/ and the cylinder honed. I so wish an engine was made out of wood, then I could understand her better..... Thanks for any response and for local Kemah, TX info, too...!

Your best choice is Gatewood in Cove Harbor (near Rockport). I think Daryl will go to C C.

Try James Chapler, 361-947-0086. Excellent mechanic, and fair prices. Helped me out in a jam. I still call him with problems.
