Re: My boat and what I like about it
The thing I like best about our boat, aside from all the usual stuff common to all cats, has always been the forward cockpit and great visibility from the cabin.
There are some shots of the boat sailing beginning at 00:58.

Nice. I checked out your blog as well. Custom designed by whom? At first glance I thought it was a Chris White

Thanks. It was originally designed by a French fellow named Copelli. I bought it as a wreck, tore out all the rotten parts, which included the main crossbeam, cabin, bridgedeck, bulkheads, daggers and rudders, then reverse engineered, redisigned and rebuilt it myself, having a NA sign off on all the changes.
It differs from a Chris White in that the forward cockpit is not for driving the boat or hanging out, but for sail handling only. It also has a large aft cockpit so that the design is more like a poor man's Gunboat.

Wow. That sounds like a big job. I will never whine about my re-fit again! Did I understand that you did that in Thailand?
Looks stunning now, though.
My cockpit is open plan, kind of thing. And I love being able to go right up to the mast to handle sails, reefing etc but still be in the cockpit.
