maxi-roach's "easy reef" furling main

I have a furling main by maxi-roach on our Prout 39, we have always found it to be very difficult to un-furl the mainsail. we have played with lining the sail by moving the boom in different configurations but its still the same.
I have sent emails to contacts on this website but haven't had any replies. Maxiroach Ltd world class manufacturers of Maxiroach sails and Easyreef reefing systems for ocean going sailing boats

Is anyone out there with this system? If so please advise if it works at all.
