I know the 43 well, but don't have exact measurements. Narrow at the shoulders, and very narrow at the feet is all I remember. If the person is smallish and shortish, maybe it's a go. Tramps are not anywhere near the ideal situation. First of all, after a few hours they will feel quite hard. Second, depending upon the time of year, it almost always rains a bit sometime during the night. However, the port side
cockpit seat is VERY comfortable. It's long enough and a bit wider than on the L45 or 47, for example, so it is not at all cramped. I spent a lot of time there on an overnight
passage. If there are no side-curtains, however, you are vulnerable to the rain, again. However, there is nothing that keeps you from taking the cushion from that port side cockpit seat and laying it on the central floor of the cockpit, or up on the flat area forward, just aft of the tramps (except for the rain, again).
