Here is a picture of our installation. We also installed a dedicated 1200 Watt inverter
so the ice stays frozen rather than melting when you don't have AC power from the generator
or shore power
. 1200 watts is overkill but a 600 watt unit couldn't handle the startup surge.
The installation was done by first removing the entire tub that houses the cockpit
cabinet, then laying in a support floor for the units, and cutting a faceplate from star-board.
I know of two other Lagoon 450 owners who have now had the same installation done and one more who is planning to have it done.
This installation is so much nicer than having a refrigerator
and an ice maker sitting inside a cabinet.
