Hello Wayne

I have put a hard top on a Lagoon 410s2.
I replaced the canvas top with a hard top using the frame as a mould. I still have the mould.

Re: Lagoon 450

Welcome to CF Wayne

We'll attach some pics of a well setup hardtop bimini on Pathfinder, a Lagoon 440. If you're interested in more details, PM dirkdig, Pathfinder's owner, and I'm sure Peter will be happy to assist if he can.

Mmmm...well seems uploading pics not working at the moment. We'll try again a bit later, but U can still PM dirkdig.

Do you already have solar panels?

Ah, this looks better. As we recall, the top was cut off an old power boat, but best to chat with dirkdig for the whole story. Anyway, it's a very good setup.

Re: Lagoon 450

We did not do a hard top bimini but did one that covers the whole width of the flybridge. We love it.

Re: Lagoon 450

As an alternative to hardtops, if the soft-top frame is strong enough you can put a open mesh tramp under the sunbrella (or similar) fabric and be able to walk on it, Just a thought.

Thanks Peggy I actually wrote to them a few days ago but they only have the 440 fittings to attached to the boat, the roof itself may work just have the stainless made to suit the 450..
