It has been suggested...
By someone on another forum;

If cat sailors call monos half boats...
Then tri sailors call us cats.... Two thirds?? (sounds horrid with an Irish accent!!!)

Surely not??

Nope - you got it wrong - Cats are a boat, Monos are half a boat, and Tris are a boat and a half.
