Island Hopper 37

found this statement made about 5 years ago...anyone know the specifics??? boat is for sail in Florida and I have some interest in her...

"My understanding is the boat started as an Island Hopper 34 and was extended to 37 and briefly sold as a Gunboat 37. There were some issues with that design."

Cheers

Re: Island Hopper 37

Looks fast, but looks very dangerous if you need to go forward for any reason. Near non existent Tiny walkways, no railing or life lines. Greatly sloped roof , blocked by dodger if trying to go forward over the inward sections. I get its a performance cat but something to think about. Ive seen catana 38s go for not much more.
